Our experienced team carefully analyses both market trends and the individual characteristics of each asset to identify the best opportunities.
This disciplined approach allows us to choose the right investment strategy at the right time, helping us create value and deliver strong risk-adjusted returns for our investors.
Investment Structure
We invest our own capital alongside institutional and private investors in value-add and opportunistic property development opportunities. Our investments are focused on projects with a target holding period of up to four years.
We structure each transaction to suit the opportunity, whether through a corporate acquisition, share purchase, or most commonly direct asset acquisition. We sit within the SPV and closely manage the project alongside the developer ensuring as added layer of security for our investor partners.
Our investments typically have exit values of between £10 million and £50 million.
Value-add
We create value by improving the assets we invest in. This may involve securing planning permission, developing or refurbishing a property, repositioning it for a new use, or combining assets to create a more valuable end product.
In addition to property investment and development, we have extensive expertise in complex financial structuring and have successfully led turnaround strategies across a wide range of projects.
By combining our own investment capital with this in-house expertise, we are able to unlock value, deliver strong risk-adjusted returns for our investor-partners, as well as provide effective restructuring and recovery solutions for underperforming or distressed projects.
Exit
We begin every investment with a clear exit strategy. Before committing capital, we identify the most likely buyer and structure the investment accordingly. This ensures that, when the time comes to sell, the asset or corporate entity is well prepared, with the appropriate documentation and data room in place to support an efficient transaction.
Our extensive network of investors, developers, institutions, lenders, advisers, and public sector organisations has been built over a decade in the UK property market. These long-standing relationships help us identify the right buyers and maximise value at exit.

Coppergate is not FCA-regulated because the investment activities we undertake do not require FCA authorisation.

Managing Director
Charlie Bryant
Charlie has over 12 years’ experience in private equity, sourcing and delivering investment opportunities to a HNW and sophisticated client base. Having previously managed FCA-authorised private equity businesses, he brings extensive industry knowledge, a strong professional network, and valuable investment expertise to Coppergate.
Before specialising in private equity, Charlie worked as a finance broker and later as a licensed Independent Financial Adviser with Edward Jones. His broad understanding of investment strategy, portfolio construction, and risk management enables him to identify opportunities that align closely with each client’s objectives, risk profile, investment horizon, and return expectations.
Outside of work, Charlie is a passionate motorcyclist, fitness enthusiast, and outdoor adventurer. He enjoys long-distance hiking and cycling, regularly exploring the UK and beyond.
